What we collect and why

  • Your order: name, delivery address, email address and what you bought, so that we can take payment, send the goods and answer questions about the order. Payment details are entered on our payment provider's secure page and never reach this website.
  • Your account, if you sign in: your email address and the name you give us. Sign-in is by a code sent to your email; there is no password to store.
  • Stock alerts, if you ask for one: your email address and the product it is about. It is recorded against that product on our shop system and used for nothing else. We email you once, when that product is back in stock, and the request is then finished. Every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link, and a request you never hear about is deleted after six months.
  • Your wishlist, if you use it: kept in your browser session, or against your account if you are signed in.

Who we share it with

Our commerce platform, which holds the catalogue, carts and orders; our payment provider, which takes the payment on its own page; and the delivery company that carries your parcel, which receives your name and address. For most orders that is Royal Mail, through their Click & Drop service, and they are sent only what is needed to address the parcel. We do not sell or pass on your details for marketing.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets one session cookie, which keeps your basket and sign-in working, and one cookie to remember your answer to the cookie banner. Google Analytics is loaded only if you accept it on the banner; if you decline, no analytics script is fetched and no analytics cookie is set. The full list is on the cookie policy page.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. A stock alert stays on our shop system until you ask us to delete it; nothing deletes it automatically today, so if you would like it removed, email us and we will remove it. You can delete your account details by asking us.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how it is used. Email admin@ravenspiregames.co.uk and we will respond. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
