Because the cards come from the Beta print run and the Legends carry an event stamp, the kit is as much a collector's item as a night of play. Retailers use it to run their launch events, and players who miss those events can open it at home to see the set's factions, hacking and combat cards before boxes reach the shelves.
Everything arrives in English. The promo die and promo card are exclusive to the kit, so once pre-release season closes there is no other route to them. Kits are usually opened one per player, and two or more make a straightforward sealed match at the kitchen table.
