The Foundations Commander decks were built as an easy way into Magic's most popular multiplayer format. Each one sticks to a single colour and one clear archetype, which keeps mana costs honest and makes it obvious what the deck is trying to do from the first turn. Longtime players get a tidy artifact shell to tinker with, since these decks are designed to hold up at a four-player table as well as across a kitchen table.
The box holds the full deck with a traditional foil version of the commander featuring new borderless artwork, 10 double-sided tokens, a deck box, a strategy insert and a rules reference card.
