The strategy is deliberately easy to read at the table. Treasure tokens and cost-reduction effects bring the mana up faster than usual, which lets the expensive Dragons land several turns early, and from there the board pressure builds on its own. Cards in the list include Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, Scourge of the Throne, Dragon Tempest, Warstorm Surge, Blasphemous Act, Lightning Bolt, Chaos Warp, Dragon's Hoard and Haven of the Spirit Dragon, with 32 Mountains rounding out the mana base.
The box holds the 100-card deck, 10 double-sided token cards, a deck box, a strategy insert and a reference card, so everything needed for a first game is in one place. Longer-standing players will find it a reasonable starting shell for a home-brewed Dragon typal list, since the staples and the token support carry over.
