The next major expansion for Magic: The Gathering is almost upon us. Reality Fracture marks the culmination of Jace Beleren's long-running story arc, presenting an alternate Multiverse known as the Echoverse where his plans succeeded and history took an entirely different path.
For players across Thanet, Ramsgate, and Margate, this set introduces innovative draft mechanics, unique dual-character cards, and an exciting lineup of in-store events at our Manston game space. Sealed products hit our shelves this Friday 25 September for prerelease weekend, and here is how you can get involved.
Reality Fracture Prerelease & Launch Events in Manston
We are hosting three marquee tournament events to celebrate the launch of Reality Fracture. Whether you want to crack packs early during prerelease weekend or bring your best Commander brew for launch night, table spots are available on the night.

Sit down, crack your packs, and experience the set before the worldwide release. We are running two dedicated prerelease flights using the new Pick-Two draft format.
Launch Day: Win a Box Tournament
Celebrate official tabletop release day with competitive Commander pods. First place takes home a sealed 36-pack display box of Reality Fracture Play Boosters.
Alongside these release tournaments, our standard Friday Night Magic continues every Friday from 18:00 to 22:00 for just £4.00 entry, offering open tables for Commander, Modern, and casual testing.
Understanding Echoed Pairs & Pick-Two Drafts
Reality Fracture introduces one of the most distinctive design concepts in recent Magic history: echoed pairs. Rather than being an in-game ability keyword, an echoed pair represents two linked cards showing the same legendary figure across two diverging timelines: one from the familiar Multiverse, and one altered by Jace's Echoverse.
Across the set, there are 86 individual echoed-pair cards (66 uncommon, 14 rare, and 6 mythic rare pairs). Each pair features two cards of matching rarity in contrasting colours, such as a mono-white cleric version of Liliana alongside her traditional black warlock card.
Every Play Booster contains three echoed-pair cards: two belonging to the same character pair, and a third from another pair on the sheet. This design directly powers the set's signature Limited format: Pick-Two Draft.
How Pick-Two Draft Works
Instead of the traditional 'pick one and pass' draft method, players in a Reality Fracture draft take two cards per pack before passing. This format solves an important mechanical dynamic: when you open a pack containing both halves of an echoed pair, you can draft both cards together without signalling an open archetype to your neighbour.
Empower Jace
Effects that empower Jace add loyalty counters to a Jace planeswalker under your control. If you do not have one on the battlefield, you create a legendary Jace Echo planeswalker token first.
Dual Archetypes
Each colour features two strategic identities: white combines +1/+1 counters and life gain, red balances prowess with face burn, black focuses on threshold and the graveyard, and green ramps into high-cost threats.
